We had a very successful weekend at wonderwool, the weather was fine and we had a record number of visitors for their 20th show.
We were kept busy talking , Lesley teaching people how to use a drop spindle and Chris demonstrating on her spinning wheel. We sold a lot of spun wool and raw fleece which was excellent. The rabbits Lazslo and Harribulis entertained and were much admired.
Sunday was a bit quieter but a lot of talking still went on. Our stand was popular not just with spinners and knitters but with people interested in the Angora breed itself, we sold some of Lesley’s books which are all about the lives of angora rabbits and who they become involved in the two world wars. Our welfare leaflets proved to be a hit too.
A great weekend was had by all, and thank you for supporting us.
