All wool was of a very high standard and sometimes only a little vegetable matter or a small amount of double clip separated entries.
Clipped wool White (3 entries)
1st Richard Grindey. Bright white, 8 inches. Best Wool
2nd Chris Hamilton
Clipped wool Coloured (9 entries)
1st Sandra Orr. Gold, a deep colour rarely seen now. 4-5 inches but wins on colour.
2nd Richard Grindey. Cinnamon, 7-8 inches.
Plucked Wool Coloured (2 entries)
1st Sally May. Chocolate 8 inches. Clean and well presented
2nd Sally May. Blue. Both worthy winners.
Yarn (1 entry)
1st Sally May. Wheelspun smoke 100% Angora single. Fine and evenly spun, with just the occasional slub.
Shawl (1 entry)
1st Mary Tomlin. White stole 1ply Angora 1 ply silk. Beautifully spun and knitted in lacy pattern. BEST IN SHOW
Garment (1 entry)
1st Sally May. Waistcoat 50% Angora 50% Alpaca. Knitted in squares of different design with crochet edging and plaited cord. Neatly finished. A worthy winner.
Handspun Accessories (4 entries)
1st Mary Tomlin. Beret in mixture of natural colours, 1 ply Angora, 1ply silk. Lovely gradient of colours.
2nd Mary Tomlin. White lacy mittens, 1 ply Angora and 1 ply silk.
